About Everyday Walk
In early 2018 I herniated the disc between L5-S1 in my lower back. An MRI later revealed degenerative disc disease, which consisted of disc bulges at almost every lumber disc. Combine all of that with mild scoliosis and it was a recipe for absolute and terrible pain.
But…
Overtime I was able to avoid surgery and become mostly pain free. And I attribute most of that to…walking.
That’s right. Walking.
Strolling. Ambling. Plodding. Sauntering. Trudging. Hiking. Trekking. Marching. Wandering. Rambling. Slogging. Roaming.
As far as walking goes, you name it, I’ve done it.
With that in my I created MyEverydayWalk.com.
It’s everything I know about walking, along with all my favorite gear, tips, and news related to walking.
A few clarifications
I’m not an expert.
I have zero degrees, certificates, licenses, etc. related to physical therapy, walking or the like.
All of my knowledge is either self-taught or empirical.
Whenever possible I will cite a study, but you should always consult your doctor(s) first and foremost.
With that said I’ll still give my opinions, but they are just that opinions. I hope you find all the information helpful and useful. And if for any reason you have a question feel free get in touch here.
